Welcome to my website. I'm a Ph.D student at The University of Tokyo, and also a special researcher of JSPS (DC2). I'm interested in high-energy phenomena in nature, from thuderstorms to space. I like photography, piano performance, and piano works of a French composer Maurice Ravel.

I studied detection techniques of MeV gamma rays with scintillation crystals and charged particles with multi-pixel photon counters at Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, The University of Tokyo. Then, I got interested in high-energy phenomena in nature, rather than experiments with ideal environments such as accelerators, and started my research with Prof. Kazuo Makishima and Prof. Kazuhiro Nakazawa who are experts of X-ray and gamma-ray astrophysics. Now I'm working with Prof. Aya Bamba and in her group. (now translating)
